Can I coat my own sublimation blanks?

Yes, it is possible to coat your own sublimation blanks with a polyester coating that can be bought through other vendors or online. For hobby or personal projects, that is a fun way to experiment with items not usually found through vendors. However, we do not recommend doing so for professional sublimation businesses as the coating is difficult to apply consistently from one item to another and troubleshooting or support will be entirely on you or the manufacturer of the coating.

We do not offer or troubleshoot polyester coating for sublimation. All of our sublimation blanks come from manufacturers that use factory grade professional machines in a controlled environment to ensure even, consistent results that have been tested by both the manufacturer and our Technical Support team for an ideal temperature and time settings. These kind of results are difficult to reproduce with at -home set up.
